SSMNC Leadership
श्रद्धा
सबुरी
At Sri Shirdi Saibaba Mandir of North Carolina, our leadership is guided by Baba’s timeless principles of Shraddha (faith) and Saburi (patience). To serve our growing community with devotion, transparency, and care, the Mandir is supported by two complementary leadership bodies — the Board of Trustees (BOT) and the Board of Directors (BOD).
The Board of Trustees provides long-term vision, governance, and stewardship of the Mandir’s mission and values. The Board of Directors manages the day-to-day operations, programs, and services that bring Baba’s teachings to life for devotees.
We are volunteers and devotees of Baba who serve with love and gratitude. If you see any of us at the Mandir, please come say hello — we would be delighted to meet you and learn how we can better serve you and your family.
Board of Trustees (BOT)
The Board of Trustees (BOT) provides long-term guidance and direction for SSMNC. They help ensure that the Mandir stays true to Baba’s teachings, remains financially and spiritually strong, and continues to grow in a way that serves our community for years to come.
The Trustees focus on the “big picture” — setting policies, supporting major initiatives, and safeguarding the Mandir’s mission and values. They work closely with the Board of Directors to make sure that everything we do reflects the spirit of Shraddha and Saburi.
Within the BOT, several officers help support the Mandir’s leadership:
- Chairman – Helps guide the overall direction of the Mandir and supports major decisions.
- Vice‑Chairman – Assists the Chairman and helps ensure continuity in leadership.
- General Secretary – Helps maintain important records and communication for the Mandir.
- Treasurer – Supports the Mandir’s financial health and stewardship.
Together, the Trustees serve as long-term stewards of the Mandir, offering their time, experience, and devotion to help guide SSMNC with care and responsibility.
Board of Directors (BOD)
The Board of Directors (BOD) helps run the day-to-day activities of the Mandir, ensuring that everything from daily operations to special events flows smoothly and serves our community with love and care.
The Directors work closely with volunteers, priests, committees, and the Board of Trustees to bring Baba’s teachings into everyday action — whether through programs, events, services, or the welcoming environment devotees experience when they visit the Mandir.
Within the BOD, several officers help support the Mandir’s daily functioning:
- President – Oversees daily operations and helps coordinate activities across the Mandir.
- Vice‑President – Supports the President and helps represent the Mandir in community interactions.
- Secretary – Helps maintain communication, meeting notes, and important records.
- Associate Treasurer – Supports the Mandir’s financial processes for day-to-day operations.
The Directors serve as the Mandir’s hands-on leaders, working together to ensure that every visit, event, and activity reflects the spirit of Shraddha and Saburi.
Committees
Committees play an important role in supporting the Mandir’s activities and helping both the Board of Trustees (BOT) and the Board of Directors (BOD) serve our community. Made up of dedicated volunteers and devotees of Baba, each committee focuses on a specific area of Mandir life — from administration and finance to events, cultural programs, and community service.
Committees help bring ideas into action, support daily operations, and ensure that the Mandir continues to grow in a way that reflects the spirit of Shraddha and Saburi. They also help connect devotees with opportunities to serve, contribute, and be part of the Mandir’s ongoing development.
If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about how committees support the Mandir, we would love to speak with you.
